If you’re seeing this message, then most likely, you’re seeing this new layout for the first time. It also means that Owarinai.net’s DNS transfer is already reflecting on your part of the world, so you’re able to view the new version of Owarinai.net that’s currently hosted at Dreamhost. The version that I have parking at my old host is the old one- I figured there was no point in updating that since I was moving servers anyway.

In any case, there were a lot of changes made to the domain and the sites under the collective during this move. I’ll be making another post to detail the updates once I’m sure DNS has completedly transferred. Or if you can see this, feel free to go browsing around to see what’s changed in which sites. :)

Guestbook is Back!

Previously, I mentioned taking the guestbook offline due to major spam issues. After hunting around for other options, I eventually decided to give it another go with a different script that offered better protection. I no longer have a separate guestbook for the Sesshoumaru site though, as I’ve decided to just make one collective guestbook for easier maintenance. However, all old entries are gone. :( I would appreciate it if you could sign it again though!

An actual update at The Killing Perfection! Yes, it’s been a really long time…but who could resist this update on the page about his family? For those who have been keeping up with the Inuyasha manga, you may have already heard about his mother’s appearance for the very first time. She’s ALIVE, I tell you!

So after all the internal squeeing I did over this revelation and going through the emails everyone kept sending me about it, I thought I had better add it to the site. Go take a look for some info on his mother!

A Fresh HYD Project

It was a long time coming, but I finally got around to making some updates for the Recollect: The HYD Project. It’s rather sad how the layout was made over 1/2 year ago, but it only just went up now. At least it’s up and doesn’t use tables anymore though! :D Other than that, I’ve also updated some pages to reflect the latest news about the 50-page special, as well as, put up a detailed page about the live action J-drama. Check the site out for more info!

Bye Bye Q&A Page and Guestbooks

I’m finally admitting defeat. The white flag has gone up in my battle against spam. First one to win is the guestbook spam. I just can’t beat them bots, and I’m tired of having to delete off hundreds (literally) of spam entries a day. They just keep coming and coming with different names and IP’s…and the worst part of it is some actually managed to insert malicious stuff in there too. Alas, I’m just going to have to say that Megabook is definitely a no go for a guestbook script and if malicious codes can be inserted, then I’m deleting it ASAP. I’m not going to subject my visitors to the risk of getting a virus just because they wanted to sign my guestbook. So for now, I’ve deleted individual guestbooks from the following sites…
